Challenge #286: The Diva & Scooby says "Let's Get Straight to it"
Straight line patterns: Zedbra, Z-trik, Knightsbridge and Ziabolic
The Diva's challenge is to use only patterns with straight lines or adapt a curved pattern to straight lines. I completed the line work on this last night and did the shading this morning at the cafe. Scooby Doo was sitting at my counter spot. He was willing to share.
Made by Joey Challenge #131: Finish My Tangle Series
Joey's start was a diagonal strip of "Diva Dance"
Colored ATC using art tissue transfer
I finished this along with my pint of coffee. Scooby approved.
I'm trying to get caught up with a my ever growing stack Travelling Tangles. I've been getting loads of Happy Mail. It was a gorgeous weekend to take my kit out for a walk.
My finish...

My finish...
...to Sue's gorgeous Bijou start

I don't understand how you manage to make so many beautiful and different tiles. They all look great and it is a joy for the eyes to see so many little treasures.
ReplyDeleteI can see why Scooby approves:) Your tiles are beautiful! I am particularly amazed by your Mooka and Aquafleur, so lively and fun:)
ReplyDeleteCandy to the eye! :-) Both your challenge tiles and your finsh-tiles! I think Joey's tile is my favorite, but it's always hard to choose between your lovely work.
ReplyDeleteYour work is so beautiful!
ReplyDeleteGreat tiles for the challenges and I love seeing the travelling tangles. One of these days I am going to have to try this myself!
ReplyDeleteWhat a treat to see your tiles this morning!!! Gorgeous!!!
ReplyDelete~ joey ~
A delight to call by and see all your lovely work. I really do like your straight lines one - very deceptive and not a bit 'rigid'! Axxx
ReplyDeleteWow, these are beautiful!
ReplyDeleteLoved seeing all your work. Especially loved your Joey challenge tile! beautiful!
ReplyDeleteMaybe I need to drink more coffee if it would help me be as prettily productive as you were. I guess a pint of coffee is only two cups, but it sounds like a lot. I also did the Diva's challenge. I like the way you managed to get a "flowy" feel to your tile using only straight line tangles.
ReplyDeleteThe challenge tule you created is gorgeous and ... so are all others!
ReplyDeleteBee-yoo-ti-ful work. I look forward to visiting to see what you've done each week Michele.
ReplyDeleteYour Diva Challenge is beautiful and I love Scooby! All your work is gorgeous and I enjoy seeing what you've created for the challenges and TT.
ReplyDeleteOh what fun! Hi there Scooby! And wonderful finishes on all the traveling tiles. Everything looks just yummy, as always.
ReplyDeleteSuch gorgeous work!
ReplyDeleteSo much beautiful work! Do you ever sleep?!
ReplyDeleteI enjoy seeing the before and after shots of your travelling tangles. And I love the colours in your Joey tile for this week.
ReplyDeleteThe Diva tile looks so "not you".. It's so different from your usual organic lines. Your other tiles are all beauties. I especially like the Joey's challenge tile, and the way you completed Lin's tile is ingenious. Wouldn't have thought to finish it that way myself.
ReplyDeleteGreat tile with straight lines!!! Contrast and composition Whow! And the tile for Joey's is also beautiful!
ReplyDeleteWonderful and so different work! Especially I like your Diva-Challenge´s tile with its lovely contrast. Your are so busy with beautiful results!
ReplyDeleteI truly enjoyed going slowly over each one of your delightful tiles. You have really complimented the beginning of each of those traveling tiles!
