Diva Challenge #283: UMT~Centre Square by Aleesha Sattva
and
Made by Joey #129: Finish my Tangle~Sprigs by Michele Beauchamp
Yesterday morning I set off to the cafe with the just the minimal tools. I recently started this new sketchbook and as is habit, I get into some marathon drawing sessions with them.
I had no intention of this being my finished challenge submission. I was just warming up, but I quite like it and as mid-week is upon me, I feared I might not get to actual tiles.
I got a little obsessed with the Travelling Tangles Project this week getting these ready to go:
This is the link to my last post with my recent round of Traveling Tangles and Adele Bruno's String Challenge.
Thanks so much for visiting my blog. Your thoughtful and generous comments delight and inspire me!
two beautiful tiles, completely different from your other work but I also like them very much, you have a lot of talent!
ReplyDeleteI like the double tiles and how you changed up the Center Square. I am working on my iPad tonight and my fat fingers accidentally rejected your comment for my blog. Unfortunately there doesn't seem to be any way for me to recover it. I am so sorry.
ReplyDeleteYour sketchbook page looks beautiful, and finished, I love it. Great colour on your travelling tangle starts too!
ReplyDeleteI love your use of colour in all your tiles.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful tiles!! I love the simplicity of sprigs.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous tiles in your sketchbook and so different to your others, I like these very much. Both together looks so elegant. The colours and the started tangles on your Travelling Tiles are so beautiful.
ReplyDeleteOne tile melting into the other in your sketchbook: that's just so wonderfully done! I love the way you've interpretated Centre Square and your Sprigs make me want to do that challenge right now :-)
ReplyDeleteI like the two tile, especially the diva one. Very nice combination with the other patterns and I like the round filling in Starcrossed :-)

ReplyDeleteYou have done very well, they are lovely. Isn't Traveling Tangles a GREAT project!?
ReplyDeleteGreat that the first inspiration was the best! I find that if I work and work too long at a piece that it shows, the opposite here though you were channeling gorgeousness!
