It's a String Thing Challenge #193

For Lily
Wishing you Peace, Love, and Light



Adele's dedicating this week's challenge to Lily. You may have seen my last post where I shared another tile l made for Lily through the Facebook group Square One: Purely Zentangle. Adele asked us to use Lily's chop, a sort of symbol comprised of one's initials used to sign your tiles, as a string and 4 of Lily's s patterns: Drogon, Andante, Reel and Lily's Valentine.
I went for color this time and bravely tackled "Reel". I tried it awhile back when the pattern was first introduced.  The results were not good. After much practice, I'm getting the hang of it;-) Lily's​ Valentine was new to me. The 3 hearts represent my 3 wishes for Lily and her family.

    this is beautiful. I am going to spend some time in a quiet place doing my piece for the string thing...so sad for Lily and her family. So sad for the human condition.
