Journals to the People: Petunia

This little  journal found a new life.

It’s been lingering in the cupboard for nearly two years. Petunia was one of the original stash busters, using some food packaging for the cover, left undecorated, waiting for its purpose.

Fast forward to yesterday and here she is, all dressed up, waiting for the trip to Tennessee (Lindsey Zenors Marketplace) and beyond.

She’s a scrappy little clean-up journal and a bit of a fatty. I think the cover was a box of tea. It measures  5 1/2 x 4 1/2 x 2 1/2, 5 signatures, 188 pages .

The scrapbook papers came my way through a variety of swaps, so anything goes here…yet again.

Journals to the People: Midnight Garden

Midnight Garden
Lurex and blue velvet fabric cover

This is the first of four journals I just mailed off to Lindsey at Nevermore Creations for her Marketplace. There were four digitals required for this particular journal that is part of her first challenge for 2020.
The theme is Peacocks, Blue and Purple

I finally found a use for a paper pad I'd purchased at Michael's a long time ago.

I included some originals and prints of my gelli printed papers.

Journals to the People: Bloom

Another repurposed Readers Digest book. The collaged cover is a new thing for me. I had received the rose image in a swap and it immediately went on the cover.

Strip of tea towel binding
A little poetry for the back

The interior is pretty similar to the Tea and Roses journal I posted last week
Collaged and dyed notebook paper tri-fold.
