Journals to the People: Doodle Flower 2

Doodle Flower 2 is a mixed media mash up of original gelli prints, textures, collage and painting. This is essentially a clean-up journal, using up the remains of a project, and one of my favorite types of journals to create. No fear, no over-thinking, just fun.

The food imagery comes from a gorgeous over-sized book called  "A Year at Chez Panisse", a very popular local restaurant.

Journals to the People: Good Times

I'm calling this one Good Times because I had a lot of fun making it. The cover is a hand made hard cover, not a re-purposed book. It's covered with some old Ikea wrapping paper that I crinkled and dry brushed with some copper acrylic paint.

There's a lot of collage going on.

I used digitals from Nevermore Creations 17
There's a copy of one of my old Zentangle tiles

There's an original doodle...yeah...priceless right?1?

Original gelli printing.

This is an original doodle.

Journals to the People: “Mariposa”

Mariposa is a single signature fatty. Soft cover. This is the first of my Far East series using up a paper pad called "Far East" by DCWV. The covers are two sheets of the decorative cardstock glued together with a strip of Tykek sandwiched in between at the spine.

I'm getting into my dangles and tassels.

Using up some of my arty papers.

Lots of collage.
