Arts and Crafts

This journal was sent off to Lindsey Zenors consignment shop awhile back. It's an eclectic journal with a  lot of collage and a mash up of digital odds and ends skewing slightly toward images from the Arts and Crafts movement with William Morris wallpaper, photos from the book "A Year at Chez Panisse", a local restaurant famous not only for the food but for the Arts and Crafts building and decor, and a digital set of illustrated botanical studies translated into decorative motifs.

Journal For My Niece

My first Willa journal. I’ve admired it long enough so it's going off to my niece for her bridal shower gift.

I made this journal following a course by Wendy Solganik at Willa Wanders.
Original watercolor doodle flowers.

I included a lot of original art.

Journals to the People: Chrysalis

This journal was created for Lindsey Zenors Marketplace. She has an online consignment shop at her website Nevermore Creations 17.
This was created as a challenge journal where we’re required to use specific digitals from her shop. I used the “Mariposa” paper pad from DCWV.

Journals to the People: Storytime

This super sweet journal went out to Lindsey Zenors Marketplace consignment shop at Nevermore Creations 17. I love this image of the little girl reading to the birds so I called this one “Storytime”.

It’s a challenge journal where we’re given a short list of Lindsey’s digitals that are required in each journal.
I started with a cover using a butterfly themed DCWV paper pad called Mariposa.
The theme is pretty eclectic but heavy on the botanicals, butterflies and birds.

I made a scrappy snippet belly band. Torn up pieces of paper sewn onto another piece (strip) of paper.

This journal came out so cute. These are not colors I tend to use much but I’m really happy with the results.
